Wuhan Yangtze International School

Wuhan Yangtze International School (WYIS) began educating expatriate children living in Wuhan in 2003. WYIS offers programs from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. English as a Second Language is available to all students. Advanced Placement ”AP®” Coursework is a key part of the high school curriculum. WYIS is an official AP, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, and ACT examination center.

111 students enrolled for the 2008-2009 school year.

Accreditation

WYIS is officially accredited through the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI).  

WYIS is also a member of the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS).
