Qualifications
Qualifications vary by position. All candidates must have a bachelors degree, and professional experience is preferred. For those desiring to work with LDiTraining's Experiential Business Solutions, several years of upper level business experience is required, and Mandarin language skills are preferred. For those interested in teaching English, a TESOL certification and some experience is desirable but not required.
Ultimately, we're looking for people who have a blend of professional skills, a desire to teach and learn, and a passion for serving in China.

Benefits
The LDi benefits package includes:
- Housing: Furnished housing in two, three and four bedroom apartments, assigned based on family size. Single staff members often live with other singles during their first term of service.
- Two hours a week of Mandarin language training.
Salary
All staff members are required to raise financial support for these positions. LDi's Partnership Development Coach works closely with new staff to develop a budget and raise all necessary funds.
Application Process
LDi invests a lot of time getting to know candidates through our application process. It is a very thorough process, and we've outlined below all of the activities that must take place. During the process, candidates have the support of an applicant liaison, who is available to help them and answer any questions they might have.
Phase 1 - Pre-Application:
- Fill out our online interest form.
- An applicant liaison contacts the candidate to discuss opportunities.
- Candidate completes and submits Pre-Application and Resume.
- Candidate completes PREP personality profile.
Phase II - Pre-Acceptance: This phase, which generally takes between a few weeks to a few months, consists of the following:
- Candidate completes and returns all application forms.
- Applicant liaison collects candidate references.
- LDi conducts personal interviews with candidates.
- LDi arranges for psychological evaluations.
- LDi leadership reviews all of the information gathered.
- Applicant liaison informs candidate of decision.
Phase III - Post-Acceptance: Once accepted, candidates move into the post-acceptance phase. This phase addresses everything that must take place prior to leaving for China.
- Work with LDi Partnership Development Coach to develop a personalized budget and build your Partnership team.
- Acquire passport
- Undergo medical evaluations (physicals)
- Applicant liaison processes Letter of Invitation (LOI)
- Submit all required miscellaneous forms
- Apply for visa (after receipt of LOI)
- Applicant Liaison registers candidate for New Staff Orientation (NSO) - typically takes place in late July in China
- Make flight arrangements
